Live water temperature from NOAA's network of buoys across US coasts and the Great Lakes, plus the latest air temperature and wind from OpenWeatherMap, matched to the closest station to your location.
Does it work outside the US?+
Not yet. The live water temperatures come from NOAA's buoy network, which covers US coasts and the Great Lakes. Anywhere else, you can still enter the water temp yourself and get a full recommendation.
What if there's no buoy near me?+
We fall back to the nearest available data and clearly flag how fresh it is. You can also fine-tune the water temp yourself if you know better.
Can I tune it to how I feel the cold?+
